I feel bad for the day they call Wednes. 

So I'm resolving to brighten this Wednes with little joys.

1. I got published on an academic blog.

Let's just pretend that it is as professional as I make it sound.

2. Best. Deal. Ever.

3. I received four needles to the arm today. (So sorry lefty!) As I was moaning and awkwardly one-shouldering my backpack, I saw a kid crutching his way up stairs. Ok, so maybe I didn't have it as bad as I thought I did. 

4. She has the right idea.

5. My parents crack me up. While in the process of getting a new car, my mom was rooting for a Crossover. My dad said they would get it if Romney won the election.

They bought a fuel-efficient Honda Accord instead.

6.If you go to Google Translate and type in “pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk bschk pv bschk bschk pv kkkkkkkkkk bschk” from English to German and press the listen button, it’ll beatbox.

1. No matter the pace, you're a runner!

2. Can you say endorphins and happiness?

3. You get awesome/awkward tan lines

4. The equipment is only a pair of shoes...unless you run barefoot

5. The running community is super positive and encouraging

6. Anyone can do it. It just takes time and building mileage

7. You can wear some pretty cute gear such as skorts

8. Everyone gets a medal

9. You get to see (and hear and smell and touch and taste if you want to) the beauty of this earth

10. Your nasty feet make you feel like a champion

11. Time to think...and a lot of it

12. Candy is considered fuel for a run

13. And chocolate milk is considered refuel

Nothing I Love More Than a Project

And I would call this a project:

Ok, you know I am never this messy, but a combination of painting in the other room therefore everything from there gets moved into my room + moving home from college + holiday laziness = the mess you see above. So I cleared everything up (talk about boxing up my childhood)... 

...and went on a painting spree. Roughly a mint green to a sky blue. Love it.

2010 in 10

2010 was a colossal year of events for me. Senior stuff, graduation, college with stuff in between.

6. Starting with pic 6 because the computer bested me. My 10k adventure.

1. Egypt and Israel with my parents for two weeks. That's like a life highlight.

2. Cheer leading with Miss Jewelee. This was after the Thriller dance (not our usual get up I swear because usually we had spandex, sparkly uniforms).

I tend to avoid all the drama so it was an overall great experience.


3. Performing my Senior Recital at the end of the year. Memorizing, let alone performing, was quite the task. And both of my grandmas were able to attend.

4. Graduating from RRHS as the Class of 2010's Salutatorian.What an honor. Janelle was able to fly out from Oklahoma, Jessica and Jen were able to drive from Nevada, and JC probably could have walked to our house. I love this picture.

5. My summer was full of long drives to Oakley and crazy times backstage during Bye Bye Birdie.

Shabbat Shalom

So today I completed two of my four goals. The first was a documentary of my trip. If I ever get tech savy enough I'll try to make it available for anyone crazed enough to read it. I made a copy for my parents so I hope they'll enjoy.

My second achievement for today was to compile a list of life goals. (Only I would make a goal to make goals.) Since 15 is my favorite number, that is the amount of goals I will be focused on. Maybe if I get ambitious I'll put those on here too.

I love goals!! Especially when you get to check them off!
