The Most Wonderful Time of the Year That Happened a Week Ago

I had a most fantastic Christmas and New Years with hardly any pictures, but a basket of laundry to prove it. Most of the holidays were spent living out of a suitcase in Boise, Provo, and Bear Lake.

My first photo with the new camera:

For nine months of terrorizing her womb, we thank Mummsie by rubbing her feet:

Went through the Twin Falls temple (JC and Sara left before the picture):

And went through the SLC temple as well:

Latin Dancing at the Church History Museum. Not sure how those two relate, but please note the little punk in the background. He was kind enough to inform us of his photobomb afterwards:

She lights up my life:

Some events to celebrate the last days of 2012:

Reading books.
Snowmobiling and snowboarding.
Sleeping in.
Going through the temple.
Party with the family.
Party with my friend's family.
Les Mis.
The Hobbit.
Eating food.
Awkward church dances.
Sitting in the car.

Labor Day...for Some

The first Monday of September came all too quickly and we were boggled with the question,
"What to do?"
Big sissy Janelle came up with the solution to have a good ole Johnson Family BBQ.

And so we did.

Hyrum watching The Prodigal Son.
He chose it.

Riley with her favorite person in the world, her Grandma.

 Cheers...

All my Johnson ladies (Sing to the tune of "Single Ladies")

I graciously allowed for the use of my killer whale pool.

Lindsey's beauty shots

It was a great alternative to the Eastern Idaho State Fair...trust me.
But I got to thinkin', you know who works 24/7?
Moms.
And do they get a Labor Day?
That would be a no.
Labor Day is like an Unlabor Day for them.
Anyways, keep up the hard work.

Happy Un-St. Patty's Day

For some reason the day turned into an Irish jig.

I was "doing my homework" when I noticed a new children's book on the Mummsie's shelf. Also I was wearing a green shirt and I kind of looked like a banshee. Then came the Lucky Charms Rice Krispy Treat which of course had to be followed with watching an Irish movie on my laptop.

10 high-fives to whoever can guess what movie is playing on my fingerprint covered laptop.

Mummsie caught on the spirit and made a green smoothie with spinach and other unidentifiable ingredients.

Happy Un-St. Patty's Day everyone!

It's My Birthday

20th birthday, you did me well.

Apartment and car decorated + Chocolate Chip Pancakes
(The balloons say "Happy 1st Bday and the table cloth says "It's a girl")

Free fro-yo (I put in 20 different toppings), circus peanuts, Lucky Charm Rice Krispies, Cake Batter Rice Krispies, Funfetti cake and Oreo Ice Cream. Do you understand why I was in a sugar coma for the following 3 days?

3 signs, a card, and chocolate- Thank you Admissions!

Flowers from Alex and a cactus from my roommates

They kidnapped me from work and then we chowed down at Mill's Hollow

Turbo Kick!

Thank you roommates for all you did to make me feel special and thanks for all the cards, texts, phone calls, and for being in my life!

Shabbat Shalom

I don't know about y'all, but the Easter Bunny came and visited me.
After a ridiculously stress-free finals week, I came home to a basket full of beauty goods and fruit. Not only that, but 20ish eggs were hidden around my room. Being the youngest is my favorite role in life.

This is either a creepy or artistic photo of me.
I'm going to go with creepy.

This Easter was filled with family, friends, acquaintances, sunshine, Easter hymns sung off-key in the Singles Branch, and a major food coma.

Easter Sunday was timed perfectly this year. Last Wednesday I finished my New Testament class in which we had reached the part of Christ's resurrection and all those who witnessed Him. As I have studied Christ's life and ministry this last semester so much has grown: my love, my appreciation, my understanding, and my gratitude. With all that I have gained and learned, I know that there is still so much more.
How wonderful and glorious!

My Easter post from last year with Golgotha and Garden Tomb pictures.

Happy Easter and Shabbat Shalom.

He Stole Me Lucky Charms!!

I hope everyone had a fantastic St. Patty's Day.
Mine included:

*A leprechaun trap*
(My roomie spelled leprechaun wrong, not me)

*A Shamrock Smoothie*

*iCover and Dance Party*
(This is my cousin Kenzie who spent the weekend with me)

*Get all greenified with our cardigans*
(Notice the major downward slope)

The disappointing thing about this St. Patty's Day was no Lucky Charms.
Darn you trying to be healthy for a marathon.

Leapish Night

Happy Leap Day family and friends!!
I think this holiday does not get the attention it deserves.
My roomies and I changed that tonight with some

Suicide Dessert
Cookies+Brownies+Ice Cream+Caramel

and
Human Twister

I also sent an email to myself through this website.
I am excited to see where I am in life when I get it.

The main reason for this dessert is because I am going on a sugar fast.
No sugar until I run that marathon.
Sugar meaning candy, treats, sweets, pre-packaged, etc.
And I get 3 freebies.
Here we go!!

Tidbits from the Break

Random Photos from Christmas Break.
(I can't believe I'm in school already!)

Hanging up proudly in the RRHS gym:

Trip to the Temple with the YSA:

Filling out a "Date an RM Application" that one of my friends sent me. This last page was the kissing page:

Isn't it the little things in life that just make it so great?

Deck the Tree

Many people adorn the tippy-tops of their trees with stars, angels, or bows.
But we Johnsons do things a little different down yonder.

It reminded me of this gem of a pin I found on pinterest the other day.

Pinned Image

Holidays can't get better than fat cats and lights.
