I've recooperated from my finals week and decided to write a little something about this past semester.
Looking back, this has been quite the semester.
Roomies, boys, new job, Student Support, church callings, Lazyman Ironman...oh, and classes of course.
Let's break it down.
Roomies: Same apartment with 2 old roommates, 1 from my ward, and 2 freshman.
Check them out here.
I loved our Christmas and fro-yo runs together.
My second set of roomies:
Sorry for the blurry picture!
These guys come from Alpine Apt. 27 and they adopted me as their 7th roommate.
We had great fun.
They fed my food and I gave them girl advice.
And I also used them for their pool.
One of them is missing in these pictures, but he is still loved.
My job at the Admissions Office is just the bestest.
In can get monotonous, but it's a great environment and they have Graze Days where we practice glutony to the fullest extent. And I'm keeping it for a while!!
Student Support
Woot! Woot!
First I was an I-team leader helping the new students a couple of days before classes started.
I loved my team and kept in contact with them for the rest of the semester.
Second I was a Student Ambassador where I called my list of students every week making sure they were ready for their first semester up here. Not as fun as being an I-team leader, but me and three other guys were in another room because the main room was full. We ordered pizza one night for our room specifically.
Church Calling
I was the head hancho Visiting Teaching Coordinator.
And also a dedicated ward choir member.
Not to mention that the choir director was pretty cute.
Classes
I finally feel like I know and like what I'm doing with my major.
Right now its deciding between English and English Education and I'm leaning towards the latter.
My favorite class by far was my Grammar class.
I am a diagramming fool.
Fun times were had and fun times are now to be had.
