Did I mention that I was fair booth representative for my single's branch this year? Well, I am. Or I guess I was. Because I am done!!
Tuesday was training for all of the reps and I got landed with frosting the maple bars. Don't really want to smell, eat, see a maple bar for some time.
Thursday night was my ward's shift and I decided that I quite enjoy management position. I can either run around looking like I'm doing something important or just sit back and "observe."
Needless to say, I'm glad my part has been fulfilled.
a. I randomly found this picture of our actual booth on the internet from someone's blog.
b. A maple bar. Ours didn't look half this neat, but they were sure tasty.
About the Cassia County Fair, I'm probably not the person to ask. Most of the time I've been there I only go to serve in the food booth. I've only been to the parade once and I was cheering in it. And I've never been to the rodeo there. Probably never will.
If you do happen to wander in that direction, some tips:
-Go with your mom rather than your friends. She'll buy you a snow cone. Your friends will just eat it.
-The bigger the hair and the shorter the shorts, the better.
-Try everything! And then go on a jog(or 5) to work off all that fair food.
-Wear realistic shoes and pack hand sanitizier.
-The area where they make hambrgers is the best stalking grounds. You can see them, but they can't see you.
Fun facts: So I did 4-H back in the day. Sewing for 2 years and cooking for 1. I got 2nd attendant for the fashion show modeling my pajamas and my no-bake cookies won a gold ribbon (as in numero uno!).
