Harry Potter Mania 2- The Women of Harry Potter

You best believe I'm doing a feminist post for a series centered on a boy.
My top 5 Potter Women:

1. Hermione Granger-Probably the most celebrated women in the series, Hermione has grabbed the hearts of girls and boys alike. For me, it had to be her love of books and order. In a world full of sports fanatics, the Smart Girl definitely caught my attention. (P.S. Mummsie surprised me with those earrings on Christmas. Sometimes I talk in a british accent when I have them in.)

2. Luna Lovegood-Quirky. That's the best way to describe my  blonde-tressed friend. Her airy voice truly eludes to the another world where she spends most of her time. We love our Looney.

3.Bellatrix Lestrange-She is absolutely crazy. She's not just a witch, she's a witch if you catch my drift.

4. Ginny Weasley- Growing up in a household of boys, she can take care of herself. She is clever and brave...and she wins the heart of the Chosen One.
And last, but certainly not least:

5.J.K. Rowling- She is the reason behind this pure genius. What started out as a story on a napkin became a world phenomenon. Not only did she create a magical world for readers to escape, but she also encourage a generation of readers. Go Jo!
