Right now, cupcakes are the "it" food. There are millions of little specialty shops where you can get delicious in a variety of sizes, colors, and flavors.
And while the popularity of cupcakes won't be going away for a while, Parisian Macaroons (NOT the same thing as coconut macaroons) are gaining favor to become the new "it" food.
With that being said, I've been trying and trying to find a little bakery where they make them.
Idaho just does not seem to know about them.
That all changed yesterday.
I went to the Farmer's Market in Rexburg (which is a charming little place and makes me desperately wish that I was not a poor college student) and at the last booth what did I see?
Macaroons!!!!
$1.50 of pure bliss and satisfaction.
