Shabbat Shalom

Being the tenth day of the tenth month of the tenth year I decided to feature 10 favorite things of this season:

1. Candy Corn! The best Halloween candy EVER.

2. Bundling up for the colder weather complete with coats, boots, and scarves.


3. Murder mysteries. This was from our play two years ago, Murder Can Be Habit Forming (did you catch the pun?) Being a crazy old nun I was pretty much myself.

4. Stores are coming out with their holiday dresses and I'm in love with this one from Delias.

5. Dinner on the table in the garage. This was from last year's Sadie Hawkins Dance. The menu was shrimp, potatoes, carrots, onions, corn, and sausage...I think. This is one meal everyone needs to experience before they die.

6. Reading all of the Mummsie's fall books. My favorites being Too Many Pumpkins and Winnie the Witch.

7. Soup, stews, chowder, whatever you call them. It warms the soul.

8. I love leaves. And I love this picture.

9. Halloween treats/food! So what if half of my favorite things involve food?

10. Sara! Its her birthday today and she is the best sister-in-law in the world. Who knows how to bake and has good taste.
