Today I celebrated my last shift at Bake Central. Lets just say there were some mixed emotions involved. One on hand I was glad that this marked leaving behind my childhood and going out into the big wide world. While on the other hand, I'll miss all the Bakes, Bonnie, and everything else in between. Before I left, little Justin Bake gave me and hug and said, "Thank you Neen. I'll miss you." (After some coaxing from his mom, but we won't go there.)
All I have to say is that working at Bakes has been heaven sent. The perfect high school job including a good environment, fun coworkers and customers, entertaining kids, and the quintessence of employers. I started the summer after my freshman year and have been a dedicated employee ever since.
So in light of my last hours there, I captained a retirement party. Genuis, I know! Pizza, pop, cupcakes, family, and friends constructed the celebration. A few snaps of the festivities:
Bye Bye Bake Central!
So sad I missed the retirement party! Loves.
